You are spending huge amount of money and time on marketing campaigns. Is it worth?

Think….

Are you getting queries relevant to your business? Does your audience understand you and your business?

It’s all about understanding the facts behind choosing the Right Word for Right Lead

Step 1: Create your Persona

Every content marketing strategy should begin with research and development of the target persona or profile of the person who needs your content and will engage with it. If you have already done that, then revisit it to ensure the research is still accurate. Every persona may have a different objective about their business.

For B2C companies:

• Who are your ideal customers?
• What are their likes and dislikes?
• What kind of content do they tend to engage with?
• What is their lifestyle?

For B2B companies:

• What are their work demands?
• What is the business type?
• What is the buying cycle like?
• What are the decision-making triggers?

Step 2: After you have figured the above, ask:

  • What is your targeted audience looking for?
  • What kind of content they tend to engage with?

Choose the Right Words to Engage

• Think like your readers

Pick words that your readers use. We try to make our services or products special. But sometimes these special and fancy words can muddle the meaning of your story. Visitors to your website are in a hurry, and therefore may not be able remember everything you have said there. They know what they are looking for, they do not read, they scan web pages. And if they find the same phrase as they are using, they know immediately they’re in the right place.

• Write irresistible headlines

You have only 5 seconds to grab your audience’s attention. Use unique and attractive words in the headline to grab the visitor’s attention and keep them reading the rest.
• Choose precise words

Use a thesaurus for better writing. Beware of synonyms, often they have different meanings, and may change the meaning of the sentence, and what you want to communicate.

• Talk to your sales and customer service teams

They have better understanding of customer. What words they are using for your services? Where they are facing trouble with your product or services

• Use trending words

Set Google trends for keywords. Go to google.com/trends, and see what is trending, what people are using to search for those specific keywords. This may give your post a chance to appear first in SERP (Search Engine Ranking Position).
